                                                                                                                            李龙承博士,南通大学兼职教授,1998至2000年在美国加州大学旧金山分校(UCSF)从事博士后研究。2007年成为UCSF助理教授,2011年成为副教授(终身制)。2014年作为特聘教授被中国医学科学院北京协和医院引进回国工作。主要研究方向为小RNA与转录和表观遗传调控。2006年在世界上首次报道并命名RNA激活(RNAa)现象,从而开创了一个新的研究领域。先后获得美国NIH历史上第一次(2009年)设立的鼓励高风险创新性研究计划—NIH Transformative R01基金、NIH R21、美国国防部前列腺癌基金及美国AACR膀胱癌等基金。在国际学术期刊发表相关论文80余篇,总引用次数达9000余次,H指数为46(根据Google Scholar数据)。获得三项美国专利授权,其中一项已转让给英国Mina Therapeutics公司。该公司开发的国际上第一个基于RNA激活的药于2016年进入临床试验。2016年创办致力于开发RNA激活技术的RactigenTherapeutics公司,

                                                                                                                            现担任中华医学杂志(英文版)编委,为Journal of Biological Methods共同主编、Bladder杂志执行主编,为PNASNature CommunicationsNature Chem Biol30多种期刊的审稿人。为美国NIH主任特别基金、美国国防部前列腺癌研究计划、英国前列腺癌慈善基金会、意大利卫生部、国家自然科学基金重大项目评审人。曾多次应邀到各种国际学术会议、大学和工业界进行专题演讲。为著名的生物医学研究资讯网站Protocol OnlineDNA甲基化分析在线软件MethPrimer的作者。

                                                                                                                            研究方向

                                                                                                                            RNA激活分子机制及应用研究—RNA激活(RNA activation,RNAa)是一种由非编码小RNA介导的在转录及表观遗传水平的基因激活机制。能够介导RNAa的小RNA被称为小激活RNAsmall activatingRNA, saRNA)。采用生物化学、功能基因组学及生物信息学等手段深入阐明RNAa的分子机制和靶向规则,并展开其在各种疾病治疗中的应用研究。

                                                                                                                            哺乳类细胞核内小RNA功能研究采用基因组学及生物信息学研究方法,对核内小RNA特别是miRNA的种类及功能进行系统分析,明确其对转录及表观遗传的网络调控及这些调控在各种细胞过程包括干性维持、分化、肿瘤发生等中的生物学功能。
